Anyone had this happen to them?

Hello,

I hope it's okay to start another thread.

I posted a thread before but wanted to ask if anyone has ever experienced these symptoms.

Quick background: Had a severe concussion over a year ago with lot's of cognitive problems, had what the ER Dr thought were 2 seizures in December...

I am having the strangest things going on, maybe it's due to the concussion, I just don't know.

This morning I woke up so exhausted and disorientated, had a dream last night but cannot remember any of it, before bed I had the worst headache. Today driving to an appt I stopped at Green traffic lights as I swear I thought they were Red, then suddenly realized the light was Green, my brain is just not working properly.

Months ago I remember 1/2 waking and remember tugging at the bed sheets and comforter very weirdly, I never do that, all the sheets were off the bed.

Also, and this is strange...a few weeks ago I was lying in the bath tub almost asleep ( I know, dangerous but I was so tired) and in my mind I could see what looked like White clouds, the clouds parted and I swear I "saw" people walking across and a face close up, it was as though something was trying to come through, but being almost asleep it wasn't a dream.

Sorry if this has nothing to do with seizures but I am worried about all of this, thank you for listening.

Hi Sitke,

Many times in my life I have had hallucinations during a sz. before they were under control where I would see odd things or people right before I went into a sz. this is the optical lobe which is the back of your head causing this to happen. The neurons in that area of your brain are firing up and in turn causing halucinations. When you were in the bath tub the warm water probably fired up the neurons in your brain causing this to happen. Years ago before I had brain surgery this would sometimes happen to me when showering and my Dr. told me that it was the hot water firing up the neurons that caused this.
If you woke up exhausted this morning I wouldn't be surprised if you had a sz. in your sleep as I mentioned to you before. Ask your Dr. to do a sleep study on you along with an e.e.g. overnight and they will be able to see if you are having sz. in your sleep. When this happens to me I feel really tired in the morning when I wake up but I will say since I've been taking vimpat all of that has stopped. I wish you the best of luck and May God Bless You!

Hello and thank you very much for your replies.

My Dr is so slow getting anything done, looks at me like I'm crazy when I say what's going on, they just don't understand any of this.

They will say "Maybe you're just tired" no, it's not that, something is happening and I'm so frustrated and scared.

I emailed Medicaid last week so maybe they can help in some way.

Thank you again :)
