Has anyone tried Neuro Lumen for RSD??

There is a new device for pain sufferers out there called Neuro Lumen. I was wondering if anyone has heard of it or even tried it more specifically for RSD/CRPS. My 15 yo daughter has done almost everything imaginable for her pain and I am so sad that she has to suffer the negative side effects without any positive outcome. The blocks, the medications all the tests and drugs that they have these young kids take without the full proof that they work or how long they will work. NeuroModulation is the therapy that makes sense for this disease. It is proven effective, but with all the other medications that are given prior to having neuro-modulation, the brain is unable to hold on to the positive signal. Do your research prior to actually taking medications and doing these treatments that the MD's are telling you are the quick fix to get rid of your pain!!

Hi momofrsd, I truly am sorry about the situation of your daughter and her pain and suffering in body and mind. I know it is taking its toll on you also and I commend you for reaching out on here to get more information for her.

I did some searching on Neurolumen and found out that it was invented by a mother in Oklahoma to help her daughter. It was patented in 2013 and is new to the pain field. It worked wonders on her daughter and gave her back her life again but she didn't have RSD/CRPS and I could not find any sites where it has been used for that purpose. The other thing is that nowhere could I find the cost of the Neurolumen device so you have to purchase it from her [ the inventor ]

The device uses a wrap around material with Velcro and has three types of transmissions to the area of pain. You have a handheld control to administer the current to those areas covered & affected.

I really hope if you get this device it will help your daughter & ease & perhaps end her pain. Remember that a positive outlook and happy thoughts and doing things that make her happy are some of the best therapy she can get. If we could put smiles in a needle we would all be without pain I believe. Keep her on a good diet also, you can find some good diets for RSD/CRPS on the web. Don't force them on her, start gradually and let her adjust. Tell her we are praying and pulling for her and you, keep up the fight and don't lose hope.

Sympathetic hugs to you momofrsd and the same to your daughter.
wishing both of you the best
