Okay, this is weird. My TBI sure didn't give me any superpowers. ;)

LOL My friend (who also has PCS) sent me this. One of the most interesting things I've read in a while.

I heard a CBC radio interview with him yesterday. I came home and wondered if I had any new superpowers. None like that.....but I can now recognise people who have had a brain injury! And I have a superpower where I can recognize bad doctors who have no idea about concussions, etc. :)

And....I am trying to be more courageous in my life and am able to live in the moment!

But no.....piano playing, high level maths, etc. it may come!

I want a superpower too!!

Actually, before I knew to not use my girlfriend's iphone I doubled my average bejeweled blitz score after my hit. She was mad.

I also saw a youtube video of a NFL player who said that getting concussions put him in great states of flow for the rest of the game (I know, irresponsible coaches).

I think its not a good thing though, its probably costly.

sorry to disappoint you

I'm not sure that's a superpower. I had my big TBI in 2007 and I have yet to meet a brain boo boo doctor who isn't a total ignoramus or insensitive jerk. I don't think you can get into neurology school unless you tick the box that says: "Are you a breathtakingly arrogant SOB with zero empathy?" :Sigh:

I want!

When I got my neuropsych testing I had 4 impairments in the zero percent level and one was problem solving! Problem solving in life etc and including math classes, chemistry etc! I would LOVE this super power. The central nervous system is a amazing thing! Now I am ADD lol
