Help! Nerve damage after surgery
 

I had my second spinal fusion about 6 months ago and it cause some perifrial nerve damage. The pain was so bad at first I could walk for a few days. I am on gabapentin but don't like the side effects and want to get off it despite the sever pain I am still in.

I just started ALA but can only take 200mg a day since it seems to drop my blood sugar. I have been doing B12 for months as well. Is there any other natural things I can try?
