Introduction

Thank you for welcoming me. My name is Kevin and my user name is Ice Bru. I have always worked in the Automobile industry. I've worked for GM for over 20 years. I have Been diagnosed with PN in Jan 2000.

I have heavy lead poisoning and was hit in my car while sitting in my car on the side of the road by a full size SUV going 78mph. I was in a corolla. I have problems driving and I can walk for 3-4 hours, then I fall very easy and need to use my walker. I'm looking foward to meeting you all. Thanks again and welcome any comments.

When was the car accident, what injuries did you have from it?

For the lead poisoning have you considered any detox type of things?
Alternative , naturopathic care etc?

Is the PN related to the lead poisoning or the car accident? Or both?

As you were in a car accident, there is also a strong possibility that you sustained a TBI (aka concussion). Some of your symptoms are consistent with brain injury. You might want to have a neuro-psych exam to check it out. If you're litigating your accident, your lawyer will almost certainly suggest that.

If you were a UAW member during your automotive career, you might want to talk to your union's health and safety officer about your lead poisoning concerns. If there are others cases, like yours, he/she will know.

Lead settles in the bones and when medically removed it follows a tral through certain organs doing the same type of damage on the way out that it did on the way in. Think long and hard (and ask questions) about this before you commit to any treatment. Good luck.
