Dr. Perlmutter diet?

What were your PD experiences with Dr. David Perlmutter's diet?

I saw a you tube video of his Naples Florida Clinic of a huge improvement

from a pder following his diet. Have their been any trials on his grainbrain

theories?

Feeling better using healthy fats...using coconut oil to make my healthy oatmeal pie crust now. Stopped using package store cereals, soak several cups of spelt over night with some chia seeds, add some raisins in the morning and cook til tender. (Refrigerate leftovers.) I require less of it (about 1/3rd cup compared to a large bowlful of store cereal ) and it tastes fine without milk. I just add fermented papaya or other fruit and enjoy.

I am on the opposite of a paleo type diet--no meat, just whole grains, legumes, vegetables, nuts and fruits. I feel great--good even energy, have no constipation troubles (flax and chia seeds are helpful as Aunt Bean suggested), have lost weight, less weariness and brain fog. I am not on ld yet but I would think it would not mix well with a high protein diet.

This is about MS but I'd think the concerns outlined would be similar for PD
