Any recoomendation for treating nerve pain

HI , I have a hypersensitive nerve caused by an impacted wisdom tooth extraction . Can anyone recommend something for the pain that they found good. ?

Thanks

Nick

You likely need to see a neurologist. I had/have nerve damage and extreme pain after dental work close to two years ago. Saw subsequent dental professionals. :(. Then I saw a neurologist and got the proper dx and help.
I use a compounded cream that I rub on my face where the tooth was worked on. The cream has mostly Gabapentin in it and two other ingredients for pain.
