Hi, I new. My name is Suzi

I guess I just wanted to get acquainted a little bit. I lost my job last year, and then became grandma-momma, so I decided not to work.. but now he is almost 2 and I want to follow my lifetime dream now and sing.. not sure how to go about getting started anymore. I had a vocal contract with Nashville when I was 14, but daddy had a heart attact so I went to work to help support my 7 brothers and sisters,,and then college, got married, kids, divorced etc. etc. anyway, I would like to sing again now. I have done various singing, including Billy Grahams crusade when I was 16
Can anyone help or advise me? I have put on some weight and tried every diet to no avail. Would like lyposuction, but am presently only on welfare... yikes..any ideas would be greatly appreciated
Thanks for taking time to read my post. Love and God bless.. Suzi

hi suzi
I have lost weight following a low carbohydrate diet. Cut out wheat, pasta, potatoes, rice, sugar.
Dr. Atkins diet is good so is the protein power book.
try not to drink any calories and stay away from alcohol and artificial sweetners they do more harm than good.
good luck

Hey Suzi,

"Diets" don't work, just eat lean proteins, complex carbs, good fats in the correct amounts and you will be fine.

Protein shakes have their place but if you can eat solid food you will feel more satiated, I put protein powder in to my oats, if very busy I'll drink a protein shake for a snack.

If I were you, I'd get the food nailed first, of course you can lose weight with a calorie reduction but with exercise you will look and feel better.

I'd also just start walking, each day it'll get easier so you can progress, then begin doing other things, You can go for a power walk and get your heart rate up.

Try not to worry about it, don't make it complicated, just go on with your life and eat well/walk to start.

Good luck :)
