Is this related or coincidence??

Hi everyone - I hope you are all well :) just a quick question which I'm not sure is MG related....or just a result of my worn out body!!!

But, since my last flare up my voice now becomes weak during long conversations - which I know some of you also have - and this has resulted in me temporarily losing my voice! However, roughly every 2 weeks I also seem to get a chestiness along with this weak voice which confuses me! Usually It's thankfully mild and only lasts a day or two - my throat and chest feel strained which I usually put down to my weak voice and I usually have a slight cough with it.

I just assumed it was coincidence but the fact that it clears after a couple of days rest and recurs with my weak voice has me wondering if it's related in anyway and I thought I would ask if any of you can relate at all??

Thanks everyone :) x

I would not be surprised if it was related to MG. I get that chestiness every time I eat dinner/ Chewing tires me out and make my breathing weak,

Losing my voice may have been my first symptom.

I no longer have a 'normal' voice. Just different degrees of hoarseness

When you talk a lot, you breathe a lot, so all of those muscles (of which we have 640) can become weaker the more you use them.

Simple MG math.

When my IVIG is wearing out, i feel it so badly in my trunk... speaking can become difficult.. speaking loudly even more so (my trunk muscles will be sore the next day if I do).. I have lost my voice very easily since all of this began.... If I clear my throat a lot, my voice gets hoarse quickly too...

My voice was my first symptoms to varying degrees. Sometimes I get out of breath just trying to talk.
