Epsom salts warning and diabetes

Anyone know why a box of Epsom salts states not to use as a soak if you are diabetic? I did not want to use the Epsom salts for "medicinal" purposes, I just wanted to use it to soak my feet occasionally but the box said DO NOT USE IF DIABETIC. Anyone know why?

Often people put too much epsom salts in the water, in my experience. If done carefully with intact skin, I don't see any problem. Diabetics lose magnesium daily, so having a source is basically a good idea.

Don't use hot water either. Diabetics may not feel temperatures accurately either and burn themselves.
