Memorial Weekend~
 

I have been gone all day and can't believe no one started the roll call up. I started out going to Bloomington, then Indianapolis, in all this traffic up there. I wasn't driving, Mark was, and by golly we bought me a golf cart today. Then I came home and went to Terre Haute. I can't tell you how bad I feel now, just dog tired & having company tomorrow for dinner. Theres no way I am going to get the house cleaned up now.:eek: HELP! lol

I got to do need to do something before tomorrow, the house is in a mess. I might make a pie and mop tonight, but thats all.

Hows everybody else doing? I dread Monday and being alone on the holiday. Thats the bad part about not having close family & being a widow. I got this new toy, but we ordered new batteries for it, and they won't be here till Tuesday. So Gaye, we got something to run to the yard sales in and its electric. Praise the Lord. With the new batteries, it should be like new. Well I got to go and do something before it gets dark. Everybody ready for the 500 Race?

It just finished raining and hubby came home with fish a bass from his fishing trip. I have been pulling weeds today and cleaned off the back patio, washed the chairs and bench. looks nice now....ready for company we never have...lol

Just puttering around so far this weekend - daughter has one of her best friends over for the weekend- so they are busy. music and chattering:)

Sorry Gaye, Mark and his wife are on a camping trip. I don't know how to get to his house anyway. I have been there one time and it was dark. It's in the country. They have went to a state park and sleeping in a tent. You would have to pay me to do that. lol

I discovered I came home from Walmart without one package. I called them and they said they would have to look at the video and see if the next customer took it. It wasn't a full bag, that would be impossible. Does anyone know if they will let me have another one? It won't pay me to go back if they won't let me have the two things in the bag. I spent over a $110 on gas in Marks truck & my SUV today.

Hi everyone, been busy working in the house and the yard. My back was feeling so good and I overdid it. I hope it is better tomorrow.

My little Honda insight has a 10 gallon tank but at 50 mpg....it lasts me a long time.

Sorry I was at the track with Todd yesterday all day. I now have lobster red arms and a cherry tomoato face.:D I even had a hat and sunscreen on! So today is a rest day for me so that my sunburn can calm down and I can do things without cringing.
It was a good day over all....lots of fun!!
Now the rest of the weekend is rest, rest, rest.

I've been doing a lot of sleeping this Holiday so far. I did take some pictures of the kids across from me who were by my place playing in the water with my water hose.

Yes I'll talk to you sometime tomorrow. Maybe afternoon or evening. I gotta do some house work as I didn't get to far over the weekend. Everything went ok though. I always have a good time with my church family. They don't have any family in Indiana either. We are close and they have helped me out many times and been here for me too.

I hope things aren't to bad for you this holiday. So far I'm ok. I just took it easy after my company left today. I needed to catch up on rest.
