Edit Time Increased

As per the previous discussion on edit time, we've given it a few months and based upon member feedback, decided to increase it from the current 12-hour edit window to a 24-hour edit window.

We hope this new, increased time satifies most members' needs.

Best,
DocJohn

Thanks so much for everything you do here DocJohn, I really appreciate the links to the articles you post along with the other forums. Thank you for keeping NT open and actively posting like you do. It's really wonderful you all talked about this and decided to give us more time to edit. Thanks for caring. :)

:) Thanks I desperately needed that...my post are often unintelligebille..as my typing is horrendous..sometimes as well I juggle doing many things all at once..and leave out something I wanted say in a response..the typed word at times as well can be misinterpreted..so sometimes because I can not change the tone of my voice in a post ( the person reading it can't hear the emphasis or tone of words)..a few extra words help ..make tone of a post clearer..anyway..I'm glad you did this..and hopefully no one will abuse it with any malicious intents...if so I'm sure you guys will keep an out for things..Lisa

PS...edited this post already..hopefully now it makes sense..
PSS...I also finally figured out how to use emoticons...so hopefully those too will help make the tone of the typed word not seem so harsh or rigid..now if I could only figure out how to use that "thanks for this" post ...I'd be set..

Lisa, just click the thanks button that shows up to the right and underneath the post you want to give thanks for! I'm glad I'm not the only person that is still learning how to use all of these buttons, etc. :D
Hugs,

I just posted a question about how to edit a posting. It is 3am and I am having a bad night. Restless Legs Syndrome is driving me nuts. I came here hoping to find some posts on how others are handling it. I nuked it with pills, but no relief. Oh well.

What icon or "button" do we hit so we can edit. Thanks for your patience with me.

you have 24 hours to edit a post. after that you need to send a link to the post to one of the mods or admin. ( send by pm) also tell us exectly what you want edited.
