Newbie looking for info on recovery from brain abcess
 

Hi all. A friend of mine just had emergency surgery for a brain abcess. He's doing fairly well, and is now in a rehab hospital, but he has some deficits and we're trying to learn a little bit about the recovery process. His family is not involved, so his group of friends is trying to work together to get good info.

Is there a thread specifically for brain abcess recovery? Or for family support for someone recovering from recent surgery? Thanks in advance.

Perhaps the users there might have some support and information for you.

There is a
Caregiver's Support Forum although it's fairly quiet and might not be quite what you're looking for right now.
