I'm looking back
On things I've written
That I have saved
On my computer
Things from a few
Months ago
And, all I can say
Is WOW!!
That's really why
I write while I'm ill
Just purely for that
Wow factor later on
Although, at the time
It's all so real
And, engrossing
I'm completely
Enveloped
In the thoughts
And feelings
Every moment
Is a million trillion seconds
And, every day is like
A million trillion
Traveling trainwrecks of thought
I wish, I'd taken the train
That day
So long ago
Why, did you let me
Say no?
Not that it's your fault
I mean, what else could
you do?
But, accept silently
Defeat
Although, you were not
I reconsidered, the next day
Although, you never knew
I wanted, to go with you
then, my illness showed her
Ugly face
And everything fell out of place
I soon, forgot about it all
That day
And, the conversation previously
But, that feeling
The pleasant one
Compelling me
that, never did leave
And, it never will...:hug:
