Nervo Senza Remote

Hi Chaps & Chapesses,

Now I don't know the technical paramiters in designing and manufacturing medical equipment, (because I am a bit thick) and I appreciate that a reassuring beep is rather nice when selecting the functions on the remote, but does it have to be as loud as the activation chirps of a 1980's aftermarket car alarm

Which brings me onto my next issue, it is huge! not exactly discreet or pocket sized, so this has led me into the rather controversial world of carrying a man-bag. Now I have never been afraid of my feminine side and have always been very comfortable with my sexulality, but i have yet to find a way to wear this man-bag without looking camp... no matter how much facial stubble I have going on.

And lastly the colour, who in their right minds decides "this remote needs to be a nice shade of 1990's computer monitor off white", maybe they have never seen a rainbow and are completely unaware of the myriad of colours available on this planet of ours :circlelove:

Manbags, sexuality, and beards.....

:ROTFLMAO::ROTFLMAO::ROTFLMAO:

BY GOLLY! I say get a great BIG hot PINK man bag, a top hat to match.....no wait....make it a LIME GREEN top hat, shave only half your face, and walk proudly, chin upright, long steps in your stride, and be sure to have a rainbow coloured pipe in your mouth and a huge parrot sitting proudly on your left shoulder - also with a pipe in tow.

Believe me, no one will EVEN notice your remote.

gotta laugh

So necessary and also relieves pain.....

I was having a two hour conversation with my best friend and had to plug my phone into my 'charging stick"....we started a dialog about putting a USB port in my butt cheek connecting to my SCS battery...that way I could charge my phone on the go ...what a hit I would be at airports!!

Thanks for the laughter Wingy!!

The blue trim

You forgot to mention the added whimsical blue trim...

I don't know why they made all the accompanying items so huge, the battery inside us is slim and sleek looking, yet the remote together with the chunky charger and its bright blue paddle makes for many an amusing double look when going through security checks.

Exactly Pam, that's what we couldn't work out either. No reason the remote can't be the size of something to fit on a key ring along with your house keys etc. Rae and I were only discussing this yesterday. As for whoever designed the pouch/strap setup for the paddle, I wonder if they have ever had to use one? Let alone use one in an uncommon position!!

Thanks for the laugh, this first week has been a bit of a relief, but also a bit stressful.

You forgot the coloured buttons! Of which my Nevro Rep immediately drew a BIG cross on the red button, saying not to use this button, and the red button on the charger. As for the size, my complex stereo remote is smaller than that. You can't even put it in a shirt pocket!

Man bag hey? Might fit in if I rode a Harley, but possibly not so well on my Suzuki. :D:D Might have to look at a small knapsack, that would also help protect my battery site.

I had to give up my Suzuki Bandit and Kawasaki as they were both a bit too top heavy for me in recent years, I now have a Maxi-Scooter and a little Honda Cub with a pit bike engine in it.... good for 60mph the little demon is :-)

I do find the Maxi Scoot a lot easier to handle and live with than my previous bikes, hoping to do my usual trip from the south of England, over to France, through Belgium and up into the Netherlands later this year, had to give it a miss last year as I was in too much pain, but fingers crossed for maybe September.

People do give me rather strange looks when I get off the bike, unfold my walking stick and hobble off, unfortunately the man-bag does look rather at home when I am on the maxi scoot, which really is not the bad boy image I was after

I can imagine the scene if i come off, bits everywhere and a paramedic trying to shove a Honda regulator into the gap created as my IPG made a bid for freedom, and after a motorcycle mechanic looking through his 2002 Honda manual trying to find out where this strange looking pulse generator is suppose to fit :D

Ha!Ha! Darn Tootin I say! This is by far the most intelligent thread I've ever seen! Heck, it's easy to stay ahead of technology with ideas such as these!!

I'm actually thinking of patenting my idea of having a main port installed within the belly button for easy and convenient access. Within this port would be adaptors to suit every need necessary - everything from charging our units, laptops, smart phones, dumb phones, even the tv remote control, garage door opener, and of course the 'panic button' for when we forget where we parked our cars. GPS system, headphones with software built in which contains every single password needed to function online, and so much more.
