MRI from last week

Nurse from my neuro's office just called me and said that the immediate concern from the MRI is extra fluid and something with my optic nerve... they have moved my apt from the 10th to the 2nd...

what do they do from this and why is it just now showing?

I want to know what they will do for it...

And is it protecting damaged tissue? what happens if we drain the fluid? will the tissue die? if its not already?

Your neuro may have ideas about treatment but as to why it only showed up this late will likely remain a mystery.
