I hate the night time lol
before the injury I used to sleep like a baby 8 hours at night and not even wake up once. Now forgot about it lol. Any advice is welcome

I get my best sleep in a recliner with the TV on with the volume low. The sound occupies my auditory processing so I do not hear the other sounds and it helps me not get caught or stuck "thinking." I focus on quality of sleep, not hours of sleep. 6 hours of quality sleep is far better than 10 hours of restless sleep.

between the tinnitus in my right ear and the pain in the back of my head I find it hard to fall asleep until I pass out and then have broken sleep. Any suggestions mark

Hey Mark,
I hear you, I never get a decent nights sleep, I pray for sleep!! between the shaking, fear, etc it's awful. Actually, I'm like Mark II, I often fall asleep in my recliner with the TV on, hope you get help for the tinnitus and pain in your head, I never got the tinnitus but know a lot of people here do. :grouphug: |
I have an ambient sounds (or white noise) app on my iPhone that I use to help me fall asleep (I prefer the "tropical rain" sound). I set the timer on it for an hour and usually am able to fall asleep before the timer runs out.
Without some ambient noise I focus too much on the tinnitus in my head. |
