Given the prevalence of TBI, and the devastating cost to victims, their families and society, a lot more effort should be going into research.

Maybe we need some high profile spokespeople. When you think of all those famous concussed athletes, you'd think it would be easier to draw attention to our plight. Heck, even Hillary Clinton is one of us. Sadly, I fear that those people don't want the stigma of being known as brain injured.

within the hundreds of thousands of soldiers who have come home with brain injuries I thought they would have been dramatic advances in the past 10 years but I guess the brain is a very complex organism and soldiers other forgotten the victims and I'm not enough money is put towards it. But hopefully in the next 10 years we will see dramatic improvements

There are several studies going on at UT Southwestern in Dallas with Vets... both Vietnam vets and more recent vets... If you are a vet or know someone who is... Look into it... they are flying me down later this month for some cognitive work.
