any tips on how to beat this problem? Thanks in advance for all the help.
as you regulars know I wake up with internal tremors that have been lasting longer and longer upon waking. I feel pretty good once I wake up but I am so depressed and scared that I have Parkinson's from the tremors that I just take Advil PM and sleep the whole day instead of being productive. What is the best way to just forget them when I wake up and start the day. is it worth it to get any tests done. I'm too nervous to be in an MRI chamber and I am NOT getting a painful engg.

What did you mean by "I am NOT getting a painful engg" ? I've never heard of an engg. Did you mean eeg or emg. I've had an emg, they are not painful, just a bit uncomfortable. An eeg is not a problem at all.
I wonder if your tremors could be a withdrawal from the meds you are taking. You need a physician to review the meds you are taking, or at least a pharmacist. |
mark as always thank you for the replies. This has been a chronic problem for the past 6 years regardless of what medications I've been on. I think you're right about the test but I thought that hurt lol.I have had mri eeg and the test where they stick needles in you. That's the one that I thought hurtr lol.

I am confused as to why a TBI patient would have an emg. They are used to check nerve conduction. I would not call the needles painful, just uncomfortable.
Have you tried to contact the support group to find a doctor ? |
yes I actually sent them an email and left a message yesterday thanks for the information
