Wisdom Surgery

Hello,

I had Wisdom tooth Surgery early last week and apparently after 5 days of the surgery i started having swelling in my mouth. Due to the swelling i am now unable to open my mouth. It hurts when i try to open my mouth. I visited the dentist last Tuesday and the dentist have put me on antibiotics. After having antibiotics for last 3 days the swelling still hasn't reduced or can't see any improvement therefore i am unable to open my mouth. I am really worried and not sure why the swelling hasn't been reduced yet. Is this something to do with severe infection? Please can you advise?

Hi Rejoy,

I answered your other post. It may not be infection. Best to have it evaluated by an oral surgeon.
