scan

Is it typical to get another ct scan a couple months after injury? just as a precaution ?

Unless one exhibits some serious symptoms like loss of motor control or "extreme" head aches or loss of consciousness, a CT Scan is an unnecessary high dose of radiation.

The first CT Scan was 'just a precaution.' It was not likely indicated by any symptoms. Doctors do it to protect themselves at the patient's expense.

I had an MRI at almost 6 months... I had it due to brisk/hyper reflexes... My MRI showed that I had extra fluid and some issues with my neck... the initial CT and MRI did not show these things.
