Just don't know what is going on?
 

I am trying to get some input about some new things going on? I was out in Utah to visit my brother for 2 week's. One day out there about 6 of us rented a boat on Big Bear Lake. I was using sunscreen every 1/2 hour or so. When I got back to Wisconsin the next day my right foot looked like it had third degree burns! Also every time I look at a different part of my body there are bruises popping up all over me! I have had full body RSD for over 10 years. I was putting aloe all over the sun burn and put 3 pillow's under my feet at night to try to get them higher than my heart. I also have been drinking sports drinks and a lot of bananas thinking that my potassium is low? Please if anyone on here knows what it could be please help me out!1 If things are not any better by Friday I better try to get in with my Dr. Love and Hope to all!! Breezy55 :confused: :grouphug:

I can't be in the sun because my skin burns and blisters easier because I have rsd. It also swells up more an gets really red. I also take some meds that make it impossible for me to be out in the sun. Maybe it's your rsd acting up or some meds you are taking. If I were you I would check with your pm dr to find out. I was thinking the same thing, maybe its a reaction associated with some medication? I would definitely go to the doctor now and get it checked out and documented.

Renee thank you so much .for your input I really think that you are right. I do not have a pm dr. at this time. I just see my regular Dr. at this point. Do you know what the med is called that makes it impossible to go out in the sun? Thanks Breezy55 :grouphug:

There are many drugs that cause photosensitivity; don't know why you would be bruising, though. Take pictures, and see a Doc right away. Feel better soon, Lottie

Oh dear! Like everyone mentions already ,many medications make our system so sensitive and rsd make it worse for some other. I can't tolerate heat at all, I develop heat rash and is real painful, and sunburn as well even if I'm inside of some areas where the sun don't hit me directly but stills gets me.
You really need to learns what can be your triggers and if sunlight is one of then,consider about exposure for so,long, you really don't want to develop something more serious due to something you can avoid ,is hard when you are used to but rsd requires lots of,care and many sacrifices that will at the end the best thing you ever do for yourself.:grouphug:
