Neurologist is waiving the white flag

Saw my neurologist today and she is recommending that I go to a "big" city to get another set of eyes on my case.. I have family in Dallas so looks like I am headed there...

sorry she did that but maybe a new set of eyes will help

Kudos to your neurologist for conceding that she is out of her depth with your case and sending you on. Too many of her colleagues would have dismissed your symptoms as imaginary - and sent you home.

Good luck in Dallas.

Sarah,

You might want to consider Dr Walker in Dallas. http://www.neurotherapydallas.com/

Thanks Mark... Have you met with Dr. Walker? He is pretty close to my parents house...

This is who I am set to meet

I will also be part of a trial at UT Southwestern, this was set up a few months ago... http://www.brainhealth.utdallas.edu/...ch/participate

Dr Batjer sounds knowledgeable. Hope you get good care.

at least your doctor conceded. Most doctors just say you are fine and send you home because I can't admit they might not know something. At least the doctors I have seen
