MS & Throwback Thursday!

Is anyone else feeling achy/breaky , old, cranky, bored, stupid, tired,
wishy washy and wonder why they're still here?:D My Family and
friends must still need me to be here, is the only thing I can figure.

I'm not sad or down, in any way and, for the most part, enjoying
most of every day. A little lonely, but not necessarily for guests.
Just missing someone else being in the house, like DH and Dog/Cat.:(

Please don't suggest taking up a new hobby at my age, although a
sordid affair is not out of the question..LOL!

This is throwback Thursday...

Leave off the old, and about sums up, my week even with the excitement over the dog. But I can never feel old :( I still don't know what I wanna be when I grow-up, now fat and lazy I'll grant you. DH is out of town until Saturday, and where I was afraid my OCD would rear its ugly head, it has, but to the "I can't do it" side of things. So I see all the dust bunnies and find myself willing them to run away, rather than chasing them down.

It's not helping my mood, yet oddly I don't feel depressed over sparing the lives of those little bunnies. But yeah, the boredom is my main killer ATM. Too achy to try and relieve it and too bored to ignore my aches. I would say it feels like I've read every book offered on protect Gutenberg, but aside from any released today, I actually have read every book in English offered there, and some of the ones in French, German and Japanese.

I need a life... Anyone got one to spare?

Wow Sal

You were a 'good thing' back in the day - perhaps a 'sordid' or any other kind of affair would do you a world of good.....as long as you stay awake until the end of the interlude :D

And you are still here for a thousandfold reasons - including bringing some degree of sanity to those with this insane disease

Aw Sally.... you were smoking hot sister! Those are wonderful pics and great memories....thanks so much for sharing with us. I am feeling all of those things you listed.... sometimes life just gets boring....stuck in the house or otherwise isolated. Definitely lessons in patience and living in the moment.
Have a wonderful Friday! You are not alone.... we're all out here somewhere.....hugs

Sal, I know that you are like me in that you still feel as if you look like that pic..I am always shocked when i see my image in a reflection or a photo. I am trying to tell myself that it doesn't matter that I look like my mom did the year she passed...I'm still here, and I am trying to keep a smile on my face and a sense of gratitude for waking up each morning...
but when DH tells me I'm beautiful, I look at him like he is crazy...all the while seeing the 16 year old in his eyes that I fell in love with when we started "going steady" 45 years ago...:)

I know what you mean, well kind of. I miss phone calls. I get hardly any. But i can go out to the store whenever I want to and you can't. Can I get you something next time I go. I'm sure it will be tomorrow since Walmart was out of the regular Shredded wheat biscuits tonight. I should have gone to the other Walmart but it is further down the road. We are having a religious convention here in town and I live on the side of town where all the upscale motels are. I'm sure they all have the mini kitchenettes and these people were getting snacks for tonight and breakfast for tomorrow. But the store was packed with them. At least they are well behaved. they are encouraged to wear their name tags where ever they go so they can let everyone see Jesus in them. They were at Denny's tonight when we were there and nobody prayed before they ate though:)
