Post op ACDF issues .
 

:confused:Hi there I am 6 days post op from ACDF 1 level surgery. I am doing ok, except to weird symptoms .First I have the issue with swallowing ,that seems to be the norm with this surgery , but every time i reach forward or lean down I feel like I am being choked. Also twice now I have woke up with extreme burning in my throat kinda like heartburn. It just seemed strange to me that it the burning only has occured while I was sleeping. Both of these symptoms are kind of scary. Has anyone else had these issue? If so did they go away? I have put in a call to my surgeon but have not heard back yet. I hoping they will tell me this is normal being it has only been 6 days . Anyone please let me know if you have had similar issues. Thanks.
