Slipped Disc on D7-8
Hello I'm 30 years old female. Last April I got a horrible pain in my back (actually it's not back I felt it like somewhere in my chest). I went to my family doctor and he thought it is a muscle pain and treated for a week but nothing happened.
Then I went to a specialist and that doctor asked me to take a MRI on Mobitrack, so then he realized that I have a slipped disc in D-Spain, disc D7-8 but No cord compression. My doctor wants me to go for a surgery, but I'm little bit scared of it. I need an advice. I never had an accident or something like that. The pain occurred suddenly when I was sleeping. Is it a common case slipped disc in D-Spain? How can I get rid of this pain? Please advice |
Hello & welcome
Is the slipped disk at C 7 /8? I can fix the title for you if so. I'm guessing the area involved is C spine and not D- spain? Did you have any PT at all , I'd try that for a month or 2 at least. Is there any hand or arm problems with this? here is a chiropractic chart showing some areas that can be affected http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/pi...pictureid=5102 |

Hello Jo*mar,
Thank you very much for the information. In my MRI report they have mentioned as D7-8 As I feel the D7-8 is in somewhere in T-Spain in your image. If it's not a problem, I will attach my MRI report and a picture of the MRI |

Hi Jo*Mar
I'm trying to attach a picture of my MRI. Please let me know what should I do Thanks a lot |
Perhaps the MRI report has a typo, unless others know more about it.
