Advice on cyst

Hello

I have a cyst at t10-t11 with all the lower body symptoms associated with the cysts. I have bowel, bladder, pain as well as I get tremors in my legs. Also the cyst has several nerve roots running through it and is partially protruding from my spine. I can only be in my chair for so long or the next day I'm pretty much bedridden.

On top of that I have facet syndrome, a herniated disk in my lower back, a partial herniation in my cervical spine as well. I've been in a wheelchair for going on 2 years now.

Last night I was transferring from a chair to my wheelchair and all the sudden I heard a loud pop right where my cyst is and then a very sharp pain. Today it is worse. I don't know if this could be worse for my cyst but all my pain and symptoms have started from where my cyst is located, since the beginning.

My biggest problem the head of Neurology of our local hospital system doesn't believe Tarlov cysts cause any problems. I brought him tons of info and he was ****** because who is a patient to question him.

My main question is could this incident cause more problem with my cyst and if there is anyone out there from Ontario that has a Doctor that will take me seriously.

Any help is greatly appreciated as today, I think will be a bed day for me and I hate being stuck like this.

Cheers
Doug

Doug,
Connect with the Tarlov Cyst Disease Foundation, review the website, and you will see that help is available through your medical system there. Reta Hiers has successfully campaigned on behalf of Tarlov cyst patients in your country.

Dr. in Toronto

Doug. Try to get a referral to Dr. Kieran Murphy in Toronto. He is an interventional neuroradiologist who deals with Tarlov Cysts. He can operate on Tarlov Cysts that have a narrow neck. Dr. F in the US can operate on both types.

Dr. Murphy is going to be starting clinical trials soon for a new procedure on Tarlov Cysts. At the very least he can justify your pain is real.
