snapping sound in middle of head?

I have noticed this when lying down a few times. It sounds just like a snap (that you would make with your thumb and middle finger). Never happened before my injury in June. Anyone else have this?

Have you had an MRI? to make sure that there are no bleeds? I know that stroke patients say that right before they hear a loud clap... I had some noises that would wake me up at night... but I do not have any bleeds, just fluid

i have heard gunshots in the middle of the night that make me jump out of bed!!! i know others that have too. asked doctor and he has no idea.
