Mri Test reading HELP
 

:grouphug: Hello Everyone ,
I am new to this site and I looked online and found my mri test readings and don't go to the dr till wed :( I was wondering if anyone knows anything about these and can read it and kinda tell me a little of what it means.....

MRI CERVICAL SPINE WITHOUT CONTRAST, 08/14/2014:

TECHNIQUE:

Multi-planar, multi-sequence imaging of the cervical spine was performed without contrast.

FINDINGS:

The patient is status post anterior cervical fixation of C4, C5 and C6. There is a mild retrolisthesis of C4 relative to C3. No cord signal abnormality is seen. The craniocervical and cervicothoracic junctions are unremarkable.

C2-C3: No significant canal or foraminal stenosis.

C3-C4: There is a minimal disc bulge at this level with mild foraminal narrowing on the left.

C4-C5: No significant canal or foraminal stenosis.

C5-C6: No significant canal or foraminal stenosis.

C6-C7: No significant canal or foraminal stenosis.

C7-T1: No significant canal or foraminal stenosis.

IMPRESSION:

MULTI-LEVEL DEGENERATIVE CHANGES OF THE CERVICAL SPINE WITH POST SURGICAL FIXATION OF C4 THROUGH C6. NO SIGNIFICANT CANAL OR FORAMINAL STENOSIS.

CT SCAN OF THE CERVICAL SPINE WITHOUT CONTRAST – 8/14/2014:

HISTORY: Neck pain.

COMPARISON: March 2006

TECHNIQUE:

Helical imaging of the cervical spine was performed.

FINDINGS:

The patient is status post anterior cervical fusion of C4 through C6. Posterior cerclage wires are present through the spinous processes as well. There is a slight retrolisthesis of C4 at C3. No fracture is seen. The paraspinous soft tissues look normal. No high-grade canal or foraminal stenosis is identified.

IMPRESSION:

POSTSURGICAL CHANGES OF THE CERVICAL SPINE AS DESCRIBED.

I meant to post on my thread that I have already had 3 neck surgery's ,

These are the things that stand out to me. But nothing appears to be major, I see mild, slight, etc..Of course that always doesn't mean you will have no pain..
The degenerative changes don't tell us if it is mild/moderate or severe...

I see neck pain was mentioned on the report also, if you can describe it and where it is, does it radiate to arms etc?

Good Morning ,
so I will post alittle about how I feel both my arms go numb and pain shoots through them on some days it is a mild pain that stays with me on other days like Saturday my right arm pained me all day it was like I was having server growing pains in my right arm Friday night I woke up twice and both times when I woke my arms were numb I most always wake up with a headache I can move my neck from side to side and it is like my bones are grinding together you can hear it my pain comes from the left side of my neck it feels stiff ... I have already had 3 neck surgery's and really hope I don't have to have another one but I cant live with this pain anymore some days is not as bad as others . I really thought that after 3 surgery's I would have been fixed .
