New Crown is crooked.

I got a new crown today and visually in the car ride home, I could tell it was n ot put in correctly. It is slanted inward and my night guard doesnt fit right now. I called them immediately and told them I want to go back. Will they be able to take this crown off tomorrow? Im so upset I cant even sleep.

Hi sally20424,

They may first try to re-contour the crown and fit it into your bite better. If they have to remove it, they will either pull or tap it off and if that doesn't work they will have to drill it off. Removing it may result in the need to make a new crown. Be sure to bring your night guard with you to every dental appointment just in case it needs to be adjusted to your new occlusion.
