Pinterest.com -- possible tool kit for mood help

M

I got this idea from somewhere i cannot remember.
A woman said she uses Pinterest to collect pictures that make her happy.
Whenever she needs help getting through her day, she goes
to her account to look at beautiful things to help her relax/ calm down/ feel at peace.

Here is a sample one -- you will have to create an account to interact with the site.

Hi, Bizi,

I hope that it works for you.
I am spending little time there -- just enough to find pretty pictures that make my happy.

Then I go back and look at them and notice how I feel.

beware of cross-social media info-sharing

I've looked at this before.

Not so much for mood, but that could fall into it too.

More as an internet "junk drawer", lol... my book marks are exploding, I can't find my way through them, so saving cute or cool things that serve as passing entertainment has become a massive headache. So for this I was considering Pinterest.

this is a lot of work -- this staying alive

I went to Pinterest as part of what I have described here as my one goal in this life.
Because I do not have the room or the inclination to put together a drawer or a chest of things to reach for when I am depressed, I read that one could make an account that does something somewhat similar:

If I had enough room in my living quarters, I would devote space that could do this:

1 change the light depending on mood -- color of light, light intensity, direction of the light.

2 flooring -- I would have to think about that for a while: cool, warm, soft, . .?.

3 walls --

4 furniture

5 favorite items like a weighted blanket. (I really want the money for a weighted blanket!!)

6 helpful pictures --- might stay the same forever but would need the option to change them through the years or when moods warrant

7 music

8 books

9 would I want a window?
