Sue,
I don't know if this is your nephews problem, but it was found in my daughter in law.
THe appendix of some of her chronic pelvic pain patients had a fibrous band attached by the appendix. It was causing pain so bad, often is mis-diagx as endo...When this doctor would go in she detached this fibrous band and I think removed the appendix and all was improved.

I hope they can find out what its wrong and help.
Dianne

Hi, Sue...

Can you tell me where it is that your nephew is feeling the most pain? Left side, right side, front or back? And whether or not he has any abnormalities in his blood tests? I've been suffering from abdominal and pelvic pain for five years, and I've been to 27 docs and specialists. They haven't diagnose me yet, but I've picked up a lot of knowledge, and have done tons of research on my own. Maybe I've heard or read of something that might help explain your nephew's condition. I'd be glad to help if I can.

Best Wishes,
Idealist

Could be a piriformis or prudenal nerve entrapment
