Got my tickle back
For the past few years the bottom of my feet lost that tickle feeling. My hubby would watch in amazement as ou dog would lick my feet and I wouldn't flex.
I could feel his tongue, my feet are not numb, but it just wouldn't be sensitive enough to tickle. Well, just this week my tickle has returned. I can barely stand my dog licking my feet now. Is this possibly be a sign of nerves trying to heel? Have any of you had similar experiences, and what was the outcome? I know it's highly unlikely there is scientific data on Neuropathy and tickles. But if anyone has read anything about it, I'd appreciate a link. Thanks! |
Any return of sensation--
--where it has been lacking before is probably a good thing.
Do keep us apprised of your progress (i.e., if your feet get more ticklish over time). |
Thanks glenntaj, will do. :)

I suggest everyone spread peanut butter on their feet for the next few months to see if you've found 'the cure'.

Wasn't suggesting I'd found a cure, but that with ticklish feeling returning to 'normal' perhaps my nerves were attempting to heal. If so, then my "cure" has been to go gluten-free. Still feeling ticklish, but pain seems to be increasing. This might be positive, for I've read that pain worsens at first as nerves begin to heal. A glimmer of hope is a glimmer of hope, and I'm going to run with it! :) |
Im glad you got a giggle out of it.
Its been a while since I felt ticklish on my feet. Hopefully your going thru the " No pain, no gain" portion of healing! |
