Pms

Just to make the guys on the board blush....ladies, have you noticed post-concussion that PMS is way stronger? i never even noticed it before. now it triggers deeper depression, more crying, etc. but i guess i have fewer distractions and more problems to ruminate on.

this too shall pass, right?

Yes, I would agree.
There was a strong feeling of relief/less tension when it was over.

Maybe not PMS but you can go through male menopause. You may have to put up with someone else's PMS. That can be bad enough.

I think you will be proven right on both counts in the future! :)

Oh yeah! It sucks the life out of me, and I was never bothered by it before. It makes me so tired and emotional! My partner describes me as a zombie during this time and is oh so relieved when the time of the month passes.

Yes and my headaches get worse... even more reason to think that there is a hormonal component...

and men... dealing with a woman with PMS may be far worse than the PMS itself... :)

thank you so much for helping me feel a bit more normal!

and sorry guys, but i think PMS+Head injury are worse for the woman than the man.

i do hope my hormones reset as i heal.

yes. because there *is*. a hormonal component. the brain also controls the hormones. or is that not what you meant? my point being. you're right.

anne,

Sarah has not been on NeuroTalk since December 2014. This is an old dormant thread.
