Vestibular therapy will get rid of pulsatile tinnitus?

That's what neurologist told me. After 9 years and more light headedness than dizziness, is this therapy worth it? What will it change?
And any advice about how to help this INSANE pulsatile tinnitus. I don't like hearing my palpitations, it scares me :)
eSeriously its hard to go outside because of the pulsing, I get confused where the noise is coming from.

If the neuro told you it'd get rid of it, then why not try.

I wish I'd had it many years ago. It may have helped with my vertigo.

Did you read what I posted about the "pulsing" on another thread here the other day?

Lara,
Thank you so much for the response. I think it's the heart because I hear the palpitations as I feel them. But I will read both articles and I will go for the treatment. After 9 years, you sometimes need a push out the door. Thanks.

Well, I just thought it was interesting. I was talking to someone else about the throbbing type feeling in the ears and she alerted me to that article. I just thought it was worthwhile reading esp. with all your pain issues as well.

Incredible read. Throws 2000 years of thinking out the window.
