melatonin...
hey there,
i'm starting to develop a melatonin habit that i'm really enjoying. 3mgs before bed and another 3 the first time i wake up at 1am. all the times i wake up after that, i fall back asleep pretty quickly, whereas about half the time i used to lay awake for an hour or two. so i wanted to find out if this was a bad idea, and came across some research that indicates melatonin might not only not be bad, but might support neuro-genesis. they've studied it in neurodegenerative illnesses, and this article suggests it should be studied for brain injuries too. http://link.springer.com/article/10....3033887#page-1 so i'll keep popping these pills for now. can't be worse than ambien. |
I only take 1 3mg right before I go to sleep, it usually last me through the night but if it dosent it's hard for me to fall back asleep once I'm awake...works great though
