Happy weekend to all...........Been one of those weeks for me, in the dumps.

Have a bunch of errands to run today, not motivated at all, what else is new.

No plans for the weekend, going to be around 100 degree's, so I guess the pool.

Just a bunch of things going on in my mind and I am trying to figure them all out.

Don't work your head too hard....rest and relaxation when you can...pool sounds like fun!
It has been raining off and on all week long.
We are headed with some friends for a night of camping out in tents this saturday...have never been camping with them or over night anywhere before so that should be interesting.
I hope that there is some sunshine in your weekend..we all need this!

I finally made it here on Friday instead of Sunday, yipee!! It's beautiful weather here, but a bit warm. We're hoping for a pretty nice week-end, my hubby is off today, too. He often takes Fridays off when I am off, so that we can get some stuff done, and maybe even have some fun! :p

We should have a Sunday night-Monday morning wrap up if anyone has had a spectacular week-end (if there's someone out there that ever does!!) Well, I can dream, can't I ??

I plan to clean and wash clothes this weekend. I also plan to pick up my pictures from my waittress freind that she took of me dancing with the Evlis impersonator last weekend. I hope they turned out good enough to post.

I saw my therapist earlier today
 

Hi,
I saw my therapist earlier today. She volunteered to talk to my pdoc about my sleep problems so that I could get some better/different meds. :eek:
I said, "Ha! The last time any tdoc and pdoc of mine talked I ended up in 5 point restraints in the hospital.
She asked, "Do you trust me?"

It's raining and windy here. We are supposed to watch out for tornadoes.
Say hello to Tropical Storm Barry -- the second storm of the season so far.

I need to check with hubby to make sure we have hurricane supplies. He put them somewhere but I can't remember and I surely wouldn't be able to find the in the dark. Plus, the batteries usually don't stay good for more than a year.

Hello all!
Quiet weekend on the homefront here. Todd's car is in the shop waiting for a part for his clutch so that it can be replaced. So we are trying to figure out a way to get him to work and me to my appointments next week. Sigh. I hate it when he gets work done and doesn't think it through.
Today going to the mall and getting Todd a new pair of glasses since his are giving him problems. No need for a new script just frames.
Beyond that I don't think anything else is going on unless something pops up.

I am still car hunting.
I went out to look at a car I found on the Internet search in the Pocono's heart of them, I loved the car, great colr thestyle and price, I could picture driving away in it,,,,then we opened the hatch and couild smell dog....not just doggie smellit was heavy urine with a dose of rug cleaner....

I should have realized when it was in the back to be detailed and the side doors were open. it was a minivan....

I was so sad, just the price, color GREAT otherwise''

Hi,
My friend came over to help me organize my papers on the floor. Then we went to Kmart to buy pastic containers and some little shelf units to organize some more.
She is coming again tomorrow.
I am hopeful that I can stop feeling depressed about the stuff in the apt -- it is too chaotic.

Glad that you had your friend to come over and give you a hand...Aren't friends great? By the time your guys are finished your apartment will feel more peaceful.

Camping was a lot of fun...
it was situated on a very wooded lot in the national forrest. There was a pad to set up your tent but we moved ours to a more comfortable spot...there was a fire pit and grill and picnic table. We were able to park the car about 200 feet from the site and walked all of the stuff in. WE brought our own water and there were only toilet pits a good bit of a walk from our site....but we were thankful for all of the amenites.... not too many bugs and only saw some poisin ivy a couple of times....the bayou had a sandy beach that the camp site was on was more like a river, a small series of rapides that the kids could float on tubes. I was so disappointed...as I did not bring a bathing suit or any other clothes to change in to...rats! It looked like so much fun!
We will just have to go there again...made jeff promise me that we would go again. Our hike today got rained out, a big storm just came out of no where...kind of thrilling actually.
last night we cooked out hambergers and had a big campfire. Made smores! Our friends had done this before...the next morning he actually cooked bacon and eggs and coffee! I want a little stove like his!
It would be an emergency stove if we had a storm and the electricity went out. We should have one for hurricane season.
I slept well on the matress pad and from my sleep meds, i was out like a light! The ride back went by fast, played card games with Abigail the 9 year old girl...
Ending up turning out just fine. Wonderful really.
