New symptoms, follow up not until 29th

I have had the brain mri - 4 lesions
Lp and blood work but no results in yet.
My cervical spine mri and follow up are on the 29th. - aka result/possible diagnosis day.

Since my last appt - first appt with ms center- I keep having hand problems. Flexing my hands up and down my hand shakes and holding my hands out there is alittle shaking but not much. My hands keep feeling like they are burning. Like when you are working out and the muscles burn, but I am braiding my hair or something dinky. currently the burning sensation is gone but my arm feels heavy and tingly from my shoulder down. I am also laying down on my bed propped up by my elbows and my right arm feels numb but my left arm doesn't.
I was talking to my husband a few days ago and put my hand in a fist and put it on my hip (not mad just habit lol) and it started twitching until I released the fist. And one other time I was moving my hands around in front of me while talking (I am a hand talker I can't help it haha) And both wrists started shaking/twitching. Almost like they had a little motor in them. But it was only for a second until I put my hands down in my lap, it stopped.

Because I am not diagnosed yet I dont want to call in just yet so I put it in my log. If I suddenly couldn't fell my arm or leg etc.. I would call but I want to talk about it because it is freaky. I have a friend coming over to help me clean my house today because I feel like i need the help. :(

I get those same sensations. I've got a tremor in my hands but don't notice it unless I'm doing something tedious like squeezing toothpaste onto my toothbrush. Or holding a full cup of coffee......

I'd definitely keep all these symptoms you're having in a symptom log so you can discuss with your Neuro when you go in for your appointment.

These kind of symptoms used to trouble me, too, but they've become so commonplace for me now I don't fret about it.

Your doctor will appreciate that you're keeping track of what's happening.

Good luck at your appt. :)

having all these different symptoms and having things happen to your body that you've never experienced before can be very concerning.

i agree with kitty. keep track of them in a symptom journal and plan on keeping that appt. try to take a friend or family member with you as a second set of ears.

get a copy of your mri and the report from the place that did it. start to keep a medical file on yourself. i've done that for yrs and it's been very helpful. plus you learn a lot.

keep in touch with us this month and we'll help you thru all this.

I'm sorry to hear your story. Waiting around for an official diagnosis is REALLY stressful. In the beginning, as I waited, I started getting tingling in hands/arms and feet -- also tremors in my hands. It turns out that these symptoms were most likely anxiety/panic related. I'm not saying yours aren't real but keep in mind other explanations. After the diagnosis and adjustment period it pretty much all went away never to come back ( this was 7 years ago). Here is hoping that it's anxiety not something else. The body can do weird things under stress. Good luck! :)
