Wearing contacts and PCS

Since my accident and with my visual issues, I have a harder time wearing my contacts. I have a harder time focusing, and seeing things with them in.

Anyone else have this issue?

It is quite likely that your vision has been affected. Check out the links and see if you can get an assessment by a narrow ophthalmologist or behavioral optometrist.

There is good information on the NORA website.

I was told to stop wearing progressive lenses because the brain was unable to adjust to the different levels. Three years after my injury I still cannot wear progressive lenses and still have vision problems. Ophthalmologist told me that it is permanent damage. Having said that vision therapy and prisms can help

Getting my vision problems diagnosed was a huge step toward trying to heal!
