A weird question, just curious to know

Hi, I know this is a lame question but just curious to know if you are able to go to water parks or theme parks and enjoy the less bumpy slides or rides? At this point of time it seems to be a distant dream for me to even think about getting on those slides and rides. But I just want to know if it was ever possible for any of you to do these normal stuffs or even go for very long drives ? If yes after how long were you able to enjoy these rides. Thanks for reading and once again sorry for the weird question. You can also tell about someone you know who had a concussion and is living a normal life and enjoying such stuffs

Some of these activities can still be done with moderation. I can tolerate a long drive but struggle with a bumpy drive. If I know the road will be bumpy for a bit, I sit forward with my shoulders forward and I am able to absorb the bumps better. I love roller coasters and have to be sure I can absorb the shaking. Keeping my back away from the seat back give me better ability to absorb the shaking.

It takes some effort but we can return to an active life if we take the right precautions.

As Mark always says "every concussion is different" and I am, gosh I think, 5 years out from my (hopefully final three). A lot of my problems are visual so driving in a car sets me off big time as do lights and noise but I still do some things that I really want to do, but I just plan on having a symptom increase. It's worth it to me because I refuse to spend the rest of my life hiding. Of course in-between my little adventures I adhere to a quiet life. That said I could never do fast slides etc. but there is a whole world of wonderful things that one can discover that are a bit easier for the brain. For me it's important to think about what I can do, not what I used to do. Of course every once in a while I have a little pity party and grieve for the things I wish I could still do. And Galaxy it is NOT a lame question!!!!!
