Compilation of problems

I had cataract surgery on one eye, the eye could go anytime, couple that with type 2 diabetes, hypertension, obesity, major depression, 59 years old, would I be eligible for medical-vocational allowance?

First off, I think it's more likely you'd be approved using the Grid Rules. The example on this page should be of some help: http://www.nolo.com/legal-encycloped...the-grids.html

You should make sure that your SS file includes all your medical records--that's why it's important to review the file. Did you receive an electronic copy?

Whether or not a recent cataract surgery will be factored? I'm not sure, it would like depend on if it can be documented to have been an in issue back in2008, at your Alleged Onset Date or at least during your DLI. Those are things that are beyond your control though, so just make sure SS has the records and they will figure out the technicalities.

My records at this point stretch around the world, I've just gotta hope my new judge will look at them.

There is no way an ALJ will have the time to go through several years worth of records, but you need to make sure they're all there for your attorney to organize and reference as needed.
