Heart rate and pcs

Im 10 months in. My resting heart rate is still in the 90-99 range. On treadmill test it takes about 10 minutes to get to the 110-120 range where I start getting dizzy and headache symptoms get worse.

Anyone know why? Ive always been physically active, no clue why my resting heart rate is so high, and is getting symptomatic at that heart rate normal? Thanks!

mine was quite high for a while too--i'm guessing it was a combo of the amatryptaline and anxiety and who knows what else. after getting of the amatryp and having the lexapro kick in, my heart rate is back to normal-ish

Did any dr or therapist mention why? Im curious why this is and if any relationship.

Heart Rate and PSC

I've noticed that if my heart rate goes up 10-15 beats is when I begin to get symptoms and strangely enough if my heart rate drops 10-15 beats I get symptoms. I don't know what is causing it, however if I maintain a hr i seem to be ok, for instance if I ride my bike for 10 minutes at a certain hr, then get of my bike and sit and my hr comes down I get symptoms. If I am walking and I begin to feel exhausted and my hr rises I get symptoms- it's the hr rate changes that really get me. Has anyone else noticed this?

ilikepolkadots,

Welcome to NeuroTalk. I saw you post on the other thread. You can not PM or email through NT until after you have a certain number of posts. I don't know what the number is. You also need to set your User CP to allow PMs and email.

The TV like most areas of the US does not have great concussion doctors.

What kind of doctors have you seen ?
What have the doctors told you and recommended for you ?

There are a couple of sports medicine docs who have an interest in concussions.
