go to bed feeling well and wake up and it starts all over again

I've lost count of the number of times I've gone to bed feeling relatively well, only to wake up with burning pain, tremors, confusion, brain fog, and then maybe hours and hours later feel good again only to have it ruined by sleep again.

it's like my brain and body have turned against me and made sleep a disaster for my body. I hate falling asleep. it has happened on no meds, different meds, so meds aren't the issue.

its really weird, when I first wake up it is like my mind is trying to solve an equation that can't be solved, like "what is the number for the color blue?" I know it sounds crazy but in my groggy wake up state, this is what's going on in my mind. it's insane!!!

Sounds like hyper arousal, your brain can't switch off. I have it at night when I'm trying to fall asleep. Maybe the brain fog is a circulation thing after lying down over night.

I've noticed that too. I usually feel better toward night time, then wake up and feel woozy again. Although tonight I'm feeling worse than i was this morning. Trying to lower caffeine though. So might be part of caffeine withdrawal. I've read that gaba inhibition is a part of what causes concussion symptoms. I think I also read that gaba levels decrease toward night time. I'm not sure how reliable that source was though.
