getting worse instead of better

14 months out from original injury, then another head bang 3 months later (dec2013) that set me back.

took jan-mar off from work and improved almost to 100%. returned to work in april and old symptoms returned. been going downhill since.

currently working half days but it's not helping much.
wondering if I should again stop working full time?
also cant help wondering if it will ever go away?

have had 4 head bangs in the last year, first two, no symptoms. none of them I would characterize as bad, never lost consciousness, etc.

probably had 4 or 5 hard hits to the head in my lifetime prior to this last year, including a serious one at 10 years old (convulsions). whiplash injury 25 years ago that I know resulted in permanent neck disk injury.

will be 60 years old shortly. working as an it engineer having to respond to problems often.

I wake every day spaced out, some days worse than others. My tolerance levels are way down. I get nauseous, dizzy and spaced out during the day if challenged mentally, sometimes not. now I'm noticing new problems like driving and walking. fatigue also a new issue. sleeping 9-10 hrs vice normal 7 hours.
I'm very discouraged. Getting worse.

If you are waking spaced out, I suspect you are not getting good oxygenated sleep. The neck injury could contribute to apnea.
