If things were suddenly reversed, they'd never say those unhelpful things again, and would be stunned as we have been by their lack of compassion. BF:hug::hug::hug:

Thanks for making me laugh over something that usually steams me up.

TBI, like bipolar, is a largely invisible condition. I'm always meeting people who think I can just will away my deficits and struggles.

If determination was medication, we lot would be the healthiest people on the planet.

Loved the chuckle....reminded me of my Mom minimizing what ever we had.

Oh, Yeah, Di,

My mom used to do something weird.

Anytime one of us was having a problem, she said she might have the problem.

If I thought I was coming down with a cold, she said, "I think I have a scratchy throat. Maybe I have it to.:confused::confused:

(She always worried about getting what we had.)

It kind of sounded like my mom. She just didn't know how to encourage me. BF:hug::hug::hug:
