I'm reminded of something I read (heard?) many years ago. Patients held some kind of item in their mouth and walked better. Think it was a gyro of some sort but was so long ago I don't remember.

I'm asking my Neuro about this at my next appointment. This is very interesting! Thanks for sharing.
