Electromagnetic field therapy
Hi I have been looking into reducing my medication but frightened incase I have increased pain. So after a little research I have came across this Electromagnetic field therapy and was wondering if anyone has tried this and what we're the results.
Some manufacturers claim outstanding results with their machines but I am a little sceptical about great results. I would be pleased with even small results if I could reduce my medication, The price of the machines vairy quite a lot and would love some feedback from someone that has used this. Thanks in advance |

What is it called? The name of the machine you are asking about?
Was it PEMF? or something else? Evidence-based use of pulsed electromagnetic field therapy in clinical plastic surgery. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19371845 |
http://www.naturesnaturals.co.uk/nat...elief-products That is the link for one machine I have found its called (painserve)
Hi Lisa and jo☆Mar Thanks for the reply the machines are called PEMF jo and very mixed opinions on their benefits I will research some more before I decide if it is worth trying.Shame you can't try before you buy 😕. I know where you are coming from Lisa you sure find out who your real friends are when you can no longer work and party like you used to.I am lucky with the few friends I have left and an understanding family. Take care |
Have you tried magnets for pain relief - medical magnets - probably be cheaper and no battery or charging needed..
But you'd have to place them near the painful area, but probably the same for this PEMF device .. I didn't watch the video.. I wish those kinds of sites would just say exactly what it does, how it works, and how to use it.. :( Some chiropractors may have similar types of medical /therapy tools like this, the more alternative things compared to PT and drs offices.. My chiro had a low level laser back in 2005, none of the PT places or drs offices had anything like that.. Might be worth calling around to see if anyone has one of these in their office locally, if you want to try it.. |
have a good day

I did have good results with the medical magnets during my RSI injuries.
I used magnetic wrist wraps while continuing to work, but unfortunately the positives could not overcome the negatives of continued work and ongoing re-injury.. I also wore them while recovering when the doc finally took me off work.. I could tell the difference eon days that I went without them and when I was wearing them.. But I can't say if it would help or not for RSD/CRPS or not. |
