Idk what do you all think
I hit my head as we all know but after doing some web searches I came across some interesting stuff. All the drs said I have a concussion but all ct scans came back normal so brain may have had 1 but mild. All the symptoms I am having now all are coming up as whiplash. Concussions and whiplash have similar symptoms but mine is leading towards whiplash. Yes I took a shot to the head but according to webmd my symptoms closely match whiplash not pcs. Where do I go from here? Any suggestions

It is common for a concussion to happen in a whiplash event, and vice versa. You treat the symptoms, not the 'diagnosis' anyway. Since you started a new thread, I can't scroll back to see your previous comments about your symptoms. It would help if you listed them on this thread.

A clean CT means NOTHING when it comes to TBI. It simply isn't subtle enough to image damage to all those tiny, but vitally important, axons.
Until you've had a neuro-psych test, I don't think you can be sure you don't have a TBI. In fact, it is quite common for brain injury patients to have deficits of which they are not even aware. Ironically, the worst affected patients are often the least aware of their deficits. Having suffered both a TBI and whiplash, I know that the physical symptoms can overlap. The ultimate source(s) won't have much impact on how they need to be treated. However, I would still advise you to have your cognitive function evaluated. |

What treatment are you getting for your neck ?

That's bologna,
If it is causing head aches, clicking in your neck, and such, there are treatments that can help it heal. You need to find a physical therapist who is skilled with whiplash and concussion symptoms related to whiplash. Some myofacial release therapy may help. |

I feel better today if I adjust my neck I get a little dizzy and very mild headache but goes away. I feel a dull pain in back of neck on both sides but not in the middle which go to base of head. My doctor feels it is whiplash now and concussion has healed. When I put my chin in my chest I get dizzy from looking down otherwise normal. What do you all think?
