hello out there -- new with PPMS
I'm a newbie-diagnosed last yr. with primary progressive M.S. at the tender age of 61. Anyone out there with this diagnosis? I find lots of RRMS but not other forms.

I never really got to "enjoy" the RRMS stage......by the time I received my dx my neuro was fairly sure I had moved on to SPMS. I was 25, and now am 29, and feel like in many ways I can see how my MS is progressing almost textbook......not that there is a definite pattern with MS......just mine has been pretty steady, not quite as unpredictable as the RRMS stage. Forgive me if that makes no sense......its late and I'm sleepy! LOL~~~Jess:)

Welcome, bbarbick! There are some friends in the MS forum but I'm not sure how many are PP. I'm SP now, but started as RR. Come join us!:Wave-Hello:

You and I have something in common. I, too, was diagnosed with PPMS just shy of my 61st birthday in 2003. I am a little ahead of you in age ;) There are a few of us with late onset PPMS. Welcome! :) |
