I had my GB out about 10 yrs ago.It was no fun!!!
A piece of advice 4 you.Try to stay away from fatty foods for a bit, until you recover.
Your body goes through a kind of shock after htis surgery....
Thinkin of you!

 thankss for thinking of me

I just got home from the hospital and I'm in loads of pain. They couldn't get it out the key hole way because it was too inflamed. Then I got sooo sick from the anesthesia and couldn't eat so they wouldn't let me go. And I had a drain in for the stones.:(

No Doody I don't have a hubby but I have a trusty pillow that's supposed to help me get up and down. :)

I'm on some heavy duty pain meds and need to :Zzzz: My bikini days are over. I have a 7 inch scar and it looks terrible. :o

Could someone please cut and paste in the dentist forum for Bryanna. She's been so kind to me. I can't keep my eyes open. :thud:

I pasted it there for you BJ....I am so sorry you have to go thru this. Is there anyone that can come help you? A friend...co worker? Wish I could be there.

gentle hug

BJ,

I'm kind of popping in here to get acquainted with people after my episode Monday night.

I hope your doing better soon. My husband had his taken out about 7 years ago. He had to sleep in his recliner he said because it was too uncomfortable to lay down. I hope you can lay down.

Welcome Barb! (Befuddled) *grin

BJ 06-09-2007 06:19 AM

Thanks for moving it Alffe. I should have stayed in the hospital like they wanted me to but I'm stubborn. I've just now been able to get up. I feel asleep when I came home in bed and couldn't figure out how to do that pillow thing. I did so well in the hospital but I had that little button that I could push when I was in too much pain. I'm so embarrassed I even wet the bed because I couldn't get up. :o

I'm going to plop myself in my recliner and hopefully I'll be able to get out of it. And I left my pain meds in the bathroom and didn't take any all night because I couldn't get up. Now
